1. Sign in

There is no signup and no invitation email. Your account is created for you, and you are given a temporary password which is shown once and never again.

Sign in with the email address your account was created with, and the temporary password you were given.

Change the temporary password

The first thing you will see is the change-password screen, and you cannot reach any other screen until you have been through it.

The requirements are listed beside the field and tick off as you type.
Changing a password ends every session

Including the one you are using. That is deliberate: the point of changing a password is the one that may have been compromised, and a change that leaves an intruder signed in is not the lever it is meant to be. You will be asked to sign in again with the new password. Having a password reset for you does the same thing.

What you are looking at

The application header showing the KYB logo and the Cases, Extraction, Configurations and Activity links
Cases, Extraction, Configurations and Activity are the four working screens.
ScreenWhat lives there
CasesEvery company you have checked, newest first. This is where you land.
ExtractionThe schemas that say what to read out of each kind of document
ConfigurationsThe lists of facts a case is opened to establish
ActivityWhat was done, when, and what each value was before it changed

Your cases, your configurations, your extraction schemas and your document types all live in one workspace, which is the first segment of every URL: every address starts /o/<workspace>/.
