Your account

Signing in

There is no signup and no invitation email. Your account is created for you, and you are given a temporary password that is shown once and stored only as a hash.

You cannot reach any screen until that password has been replaced.

Changing a password ends every session

Including the one doing the changing, and including every other device you were signed in on. The point is the compromised password: a change that leaves an intruder signed in is not the lever it is meant to be. Having a password reset for you does exactly the same thing.

Where your work lives

The application header, with the workspace name shown beside the user avatar
Cases, Extraction, Configurations and Activity are the four working screens.

Everything the work produces lives in one workspace: the cases, the configurations, the extraction schemas, the document types. The workspace is the first segment of every URL, /o/<workspace>/cases, rather than a setting you switch, so a link means the same thing whenever you come back to it and there is no mode to leave.

One set of configurations, one set of extraction schemas, one set of document types. That is what makes two companies checked a month apart comparable: they were asked the same questions and read with the same schemas.
