Ownership and beneficial owners

Enable Ownership graph on New Company Search to start the shareholder walk with the request. The same screen shows the automatic budget and effective-ownership threshold before confirmation.

Each registry lookup adds another company or person to the graph.

Automatic traversal

A branch is followed when its effective stake meets the threshold, the stake is stated and the next quoted lookup fits inside the remaining budget. Effective ownership is the product of stakes along the chain.

The budget check happens before every paid lookup. When the remaining amount is too low, the walk stops and leaves the branch available for review.

Manual expansion

Branches below the threshold or with an unknown stake remain visible with an Expand action and price. Manual expansion is tracked separately from the automatic budget.

Beneficial owners

Only individuals meeting the threshold appear as beneficial owners.

If a link has no stated percentage, the effective ownership above it remains unknown. The request and report preserve that uncertainty.
